Nintendo is opening up to the gaming community about their current status as a company. There has been speculation as to what Nintendo will be unveiling at E3 2016 and the rumored NX project.
The current generation of Nintendo consoles include the Wii U and the New Nintendo 3DS handheld. The Wii U has been struggling to make sales recently, since its reveal back in 2012.
Based on the Nintendo Investor Relations
, the Wii U was released when the company was at loss. Nintendo plans to do the opposite for the upcoming NX, which is the reason for the delay to 2017.
As for game announcements, fans can look forward to the brand new Legend of Zelda title. It was previously announced to Wii U but is now speculated to also appear on the NX. At E3 however, this will be the only game on preview that will be playable.

E3 2016 is just around the corner. However, Nintendo is giving strange information regarding bad sales and their new console the NX. Nintendo consoles had seen great sales in the past, but the Wii U has declined in the most recent console era.

Nintendo first console was the NES or Nintendo Entertainment System. This platform is what launched many IPs that fans know and love such Mario and Zelda.
They then moved on from 8-bit to 16-bit with the SNES, Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
Breaking into the 3D realm with 64-bit graphics. The Nintendo 64 gave dimesions to the IPs.
Moving more and more into the modern age, Nintendo continued to grow to the Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U system.

Nintendo will only have one playable demo at E3. This will be the first time that a major gaming company will have this kind of minimal access.

The Nintendo NX has been announced to release in March 2017. NX is still a codename to the upcoming console. However, the NX will not be revealed at this year's E3.

Fans have said the Wii U was as slop, even for its short existence. Due to finacial issue the company has had in the past. Nintendo is careful planning their practice in order to return themselves to the gaming community.
